Thomas Carlton Morris passed away June 13 at his home in Star Valley. The Morris family moved to Payson from Chandler in 1941. preceding Tom's death were his brothers: Jack Morris in 1956; Glen Morris, 1984; and Bill Morris in August 1991. Tom and his brothers are buried at the Pioneer Cemetery.
Tom had lived in Colorado for the last several years but moved home to Payson to be with his family because of his failing health.
Survivors include one brother, George Morris of Payson; two sisters; Gladys Hopper of Payson, Elna Shocklee of North Carolina; two daughters: Tommie Woolwine and Jackie Hill; two sons: Buddy Morris and Jimmy Morris, all of Payson; eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held June 15 at Payson Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements by Payson Funeral Home. (Payson Roundup - 19 Jun 1992)
