Mrs. Sue B. Barnes, 79, died July 27.
Mrs. Barnes had been resident of Kingsland for 51 years before moving to Decatur.
She was a member of Kingsland United Methodist Church, the American Legion Auxillary, Eastrn Star and a member of Earl of Camden, Daughters of the American Revolution Chapter. She was also a retired bookkeepter.
She is survived by daughters, Mrs. Mary Jon Barnes Hart of Covington and Mrs. Sue Ann Barnes Jones of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Brown McPherson of Atlanta and Mrs. Mildred Brown King of Chamblee; grandsons, Mr. Stephen Patrick Jones of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Mr. Michael Andrew Jones, Chattanooga, Tenn., and George Washington Hart, III of Covington, granddaughter, Miss Brantley Stewart Hart of Covington and Mrs. Suzanne Jones Wilson of Birmingham, Ala. and 10 great grandchildren.
The Funeral was a 11:00 a.m., July 29 from Kingsland United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bob Moon officiating.
Serving as pallbearers were Morris Peeples, Jimmy Foddrell, Gary Readdick, N. A., Barlow, Harold Rogers, Homer Edenfield and Keith Dixon. Interment took place at Lawnwood Cemebery in Kingsland.

Mary Sue (Brown) Barnes was given her name Mary for her grandmother, Mary Rebecca "Mollie" (LeSueur) Hunt (m. James "Cicero" A. Hunt, C.S.A.) and Sue for her Grandmother's sister, Amanda Sue (LeSueur) Cagle (m. William H. Cagle).
