Kelsey Shelton Smith-Briggs departed this life on Oct. 11, 2005, at the tender age of two years, nine months and two weeks, at her home in Meeker.
Kelsey was born Dec. 28, 2002, in Oklahoma City to Raye Dawn (Smith) Porter and Lance Robinson (Briggs)

A funeral service for the Briggs family and friends of Kelsey Briggs, 2 1/2, will be 10 a.m. today at Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Prague.
Kelsey was born Dec. 28, 2002, to Lance Briggs and Raye Dawn Porter.

She died Oct. 11, 2005, at Prague Hospital.

She loved swinging and gymnastics and riding her John Deere tractor.

Kelsey is survived by her father, SPC Lance Briggs of Fort Benning, Ga.; paternal grandparents, Royce and Kathie Briggs of Meeker; stepgrandpareents, Jay and Teri Sigman of Shawnee; aunts and uncles, Shirica Howard of Meeker, Jeanna and Randy Fowler of Meeker, Robynn and Gary Stell of Meeker and Shawn and Kristy Middleton of Shawnee; great-grandparents, Carl and Edna Briggs of Shawnee, Joy Batt and Joy Rose, both of Shawnee, Leon and Nita Rice of Meeker, Jim and Cleone Sigman of Tecumseh and the late Raymond L. Batt; and numerous other family members and friends.
