Carter Joseph, 3, of Greenwood, SC, formerly of Locust, NC, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2012, at Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte. A graveside service will be conducted at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Montgomery, Ohio on Monday, August 20, 2012, at 11:00am. Carter was born in Mecklenburg County, Charlotte, NC, on May 27, 2009 to Paul Joseph Bucciero and Sarah Longworth Betz Bucciero. He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Morris and Betty Mason of Cincinnati, OH. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Mason Paul Bucciero; maternal grandparents, Gary and Judith Betz of Centreville, VA; paternal grandfather, Joseph Bucciero of Gilbertsville, PA; paternal grandmother, Nancy Bucciero of N. On October 6, 2011, Carter was diagnosed with an Anaplastic Astrocytoma Glioma (malignant brain tumor). He fought bravely, enduring surgeries, radiation therapy, and more for ten months before being welcomed into Heaven. He was a happy, beautiful, loved baby boy who will be missed greatly.

On October 6, 2011, Carter was diagnosed with an Anaplastic Astrocytoma Glioma (malignant brain tumor). He fought bravely, enduring surgeries, radiation therapy, and more for ten months before being welcomed into Heaven. He was a happy, beautiful, loved baby boy who will be missed greatly.
