Infant Jack Vernon Johnson, 2 days old, passed away August 10, 2012 at Self Regional Medical Center.
He was born August 8, 2012 in Greenwood, SC to Billy "Mikey" Johnson and Hannah Gaines Johnson of Calhoun Falls, SC.
He was preceded in death by his great grandfathers, Vernon Johnson and Jack Gaines.
Surviving are his maternal grandparents, Steve and Melissa Gaines all of Elberton, GA; paternal grandparents, Mike and Lisa Johnson of Calhoun Falls; maternal great grandparents, Sandra Hulett and Waymon and Jane Dotson of Elberton; paternal great grandparents, Douglas and Lucille Wilhite of Elberton and Margaret Johnson of Calhoun Falls and his only surviving great-great grandmother, Frances Rudder of Calhoun Falls.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 13, 2012 at Latimer Cemetery. Rev. Wade Dotson will officiate.
No formal visitation will be held. The family will receive friends at the residence following the service.
