of San Diego, Calif; two sons, Earl G.

Albuquerque, three grandchildren,
Debbie, Jimmy and Ian Huffman all of
Albuquerque, two sisters, Lera Garcia
of Santa Rosa and Evelyn Wood of
West Palm Beach, Fla; two brothers,
Buford Huffman of San Diego and
Herbert Huffman of Jacksonville, Fla.
Huffman was employed as a ticket
agent for many years in Tucumcari
with the Southern Pacific Railroad
and served as mayor for the City of
Tucumcari. He was on the city com-
mission and served a term as Quay
County commissioner. He was active
in the New Mexico Democratic Party.
He was a member and past exalted
ruler of Tucumcari Elks Lodge, a
member of the Tucumcari Masonic
Lodge and was past district deputy of
New Mexico Elks Assn. He was em-
ployed by the stone and Vaughn Real-
tors as a salesman. Services will be
held today at 9 a.m. in the chapel of
Fitzgerald and Sons Funeral Directors,
3113 Carlisle NE, with the Rev. Tom
E. Smith of Christ United Methodist
Church officiating. Internment will be
in Tucumcari Memorial Park at 1:30
p.m. with the Fraternal Rites by Tuc-
umcari Elks Lodge # 1172. Casket
bearers and honorary bearers will be
members of Tucumcari Masonic
Lodge # 27 AF and A38.
