AN AMERICAN PATRIOT'S STORY:
JEREMIAH LOTT and the AMERICAN REVOLUTION
by Leon S Reed
excerpt from familysearch.org)

Revolutionary War experiences of Jeremiah Lott of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He joined the army in December 1776 and served virtually the entire length of the conflict, ending his service in 1782 in Georgia. He probably returned to Bucks County after the war but at some time moved to Hunterdon County, New Jersey, where he lived the rest of his life in the town of Bloomsbury. He married Elizabeth Laycock of that area and had seven children. He died in 1822.

I believe Jeremiah may be a descendant of:
Englebrecht Lott 1600-1631
whose son Peter Lott (Lodt) a French Hugenot
immigrated to America in 1652 and settled in
Flatbush, Kings, New York

If this is the case then Jeremiah may be the son of:
Hendrick Lott born 1729

I am researching this further . . .

Parents are:
Peter Lott JR 1721-1762 25696412(Son of Peter Lott SR 35097131
