Mrs. Elizabeth Leibengood, widow of Joseph Leibengood, died suddenly at 1 o'clock this afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Emma Gilmer, 128 South Tenth St., from the infirmities of old age. Had she lived until Sunday she would have been 95 years old. Mrs. Leibengood, despite her advanced age, was in good health until a few days ago and even this morning she was in excellent spirits and spoke frequently to members of her family.

She was a native of White Haven and had resided here for the past twenty years.

She was a member of Calvary Memorial M. E. Church.

I spoke with Easton Heights Cemetery and the year of death for Elizabeth was 1919. In 1938 her son, Charles Leibengood, who died in 1948 and is also buried in this plot, purchased a headstone from Robinson and Sons, and the incorrect year of death was inscribed. Why this error was not corrected is unknown.
