Wanda Sue Hawkins (Mema), 69, Bradenton, went to be with her savior, Monday April 6, 2009. Beloved wife of Lyle T. Hawkins Sr., devoted mother of Lyle T. Hawkins Jr., Louisville Ky and Lisa Hawkins Strutt, Bradenton, Fl. Also survived by her son-in-law Mike Strutt, grandchildren Danielle Strutt and Shane Strutt of Bradenton and Hope Hawkins and Ariel Hawkins of Louisville Ky, sister Louise Hoggatt of Lake City Florida and many nieces and nephews. Wanda was born in Baldwin, Florida lived in Florida all her life, the youngest of 11 children, daughter of the late Mattie Carter Solomon and Johnnie Solomon. She is a devoted Christian. She will be missed by all her family and friends but we know she is in a wonderful place now with no pain or suffering. We will miss you until we meet again. A celebration of her life will be held at Russell Baptist Church, Green Cove Springs Florida, Friday April 24th, where flowers may be sent.
