Funeral services for David Butler, Jr., 54, of New Llano, Louisiana will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2014, at New Willow Baptist Church in Leesville with Rev. Harrison Fields officiating. Burial will follow in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
David, the son of David Butler, Sr., and Evelyn was born November 11, 1959, in New Orleans, LA. He passed away Friday, May 2nd, at his residence in New Llano.
David retired from the US Army as a Sergeant, after 20 twenty years of service. He was currently working in Logistics at Fort Polk.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years of New Llano; two sons and one daughter-in-law; mother of New Orleans; brother of New Orleans; sister of New Orleans and three grandchildren.
Services were under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
