Theodore Dallas Jr., 81, of North Coventy Twp., Pottstown, husband of Charlene A. (Schisler) Dallas, died peacefully on January 7, 2013 in Pottstown. He was a son of the late Theodore (Anagnostellis) Dallas, Sr. and the late Anna (Trivizas) Dallas. He was born January 4, 1932, and was the first baby born in Pottstown for the New Year. Mr. Dallas was an avid diver with the Pottstown High School swim team. Like his brother George, he also worked at his father's restaurant "The Vienna" as a bus boy. He was employed with Metropolitan Insurance Co. for 17 years prior to going into the concession business as the owner and operator of Dallas' French Fries for 55 years. After his wife Charlene had their four children, she began helping Ted in their business part time while raising their daughters. He was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a member of Cedarville United Methodist Church, Pottstown; Stichter Masonic Lodge #254 F&AM, Pottstown; Bucktown Boosters; Rajah Temple, and a life member of the Pottstown Optimist Club.
