On July 1, 2000, Edward Browning "Teddy" Sezna, 15, of Guyencourt, lost his life on "his" boat, doing what he loved most...being and boating with his dad. Teddy will always be remembered for his infectious smile, the outward reflection of his magical inner spirit. He was an accomplished athlete, competing on the lacrosse field and on the golf course. He was a compassionate person. Upon his graduation from the Pilot School in 1998 Teddy was honored with the Citizenship Award. He was an inspiration. He embodied all that is gentle and bright in the human spirit. He was a devoted brother and a loving son. Teddy will be sorely missed and never forgotten by all those who were touched by him. He was an incredible person.

He is survived by his parents, Gail and Davis, his brothers, Davis Jr. and Walter "Willy," his grandparents, Mrs. W.W. Sezna and Mr. and Mrs. H.G. Ingersoll, his relatives, and many close friends.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the CHANDLER FUNERAL HOME, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington. Funeral service will be held on Thursday morning at 11 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church, Christiana Hundred, Greenville. Interment will be in Lower Brandywine Cemetery.
