ELMER EISENBREY
Elmer John Eisenbrey "Jack"
Age 81, of Newark, DE, died peacefully on Wednesday, February 14, 2007, at home.
Mr. Eisenbrey retired as a mechanical estimator. After retiring, he worked as a school bus driver for the Christina School District. He was a U. S. Navy veteran serving in the European Theater during WWII. He was a member of St. John's Masonic Lodge #2 A F & A M, New Castle, and was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason. He enjoyed the beach, spending summers at Buttonwood Beach, on the Elk River in Cecil County, MD. Jack loved Christmas, and most of all he loved being with his family and friends, who will miss him dearly.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Donna E. Eisenbrey; his sons, Donald Thomas Eisenbrey, of Newark, DE and Stephen Michael Eisenbrey, of NH; his daughters, Susan Joy Eisenbrey, of Newark, DE and Christine Lynne Gillan and her husband, Andrew, of Galena, MD; and his granddaughter, Danielle Eisenbrey.
The funeral service and burial were private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 5610 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808.
