NIMITZ WV-- Donald A. Harvey, 68, died Friday, Jan. 2, 1998, in a Charleston hospital following a long illness.

Born July 29, 1929, at Nimitz, WV, he was the son of the late Alfred Adolphus and Mary Nellie Fitzpatrick Harvey.

Mr. Harvey was a retired machine repairman for the Aluminum Co. of America in Cleveland, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his brother, Alpha Daniel Harvey.

Survivors include his wife, Alma C. Lilly Harvey; three sons, Donald E. Harvey of Pipestem, James L. Harvey of Flat Top, and Michael W. Harvey of Nashville, Tenn.; four daughters, Beverly Martin of Hinton, Susan Weikle of Nimitz, Karolyn Underwood of Welcome, N.C., and Mary Price of Bald Knob; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; three brothers, A.R. Harvey of Nimitz, Lloyd Harvey of Nimitz, and Clifford Harvey of Hinton; and three sisters, Elsie Brandon of Hinton, Myrtle Harvey Hood of Hinton, and Martha Headington of Clare, Mich.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with the Pastor Tommy C. Treadway officiating. Burial will follow in the Crews Cemetery at Nimitz.
