US Marine PFC Adren Andrew Lee, Vietnam Veteran, Native of Belmont, NC.

US Marine Private First Class Adren Andrew Lee was a casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Marine Corps, PFC Lee served our country until August 22nd, 1969 in Quang Tri, South Vietnam. He was 19 years old and was not married. It was reported that Adren died from small arms fire or grenade. His body was recovered. Adren was born on September 5th, 1949 in Belmont, North Carolina. PFC Lee is on panel 19W, line 095 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for less than a year.

He was an old friend from my home town: I think of you often. Benton Barron.

He was the Son of Mr Albert E Lee and Mrs Charlotte J. Collier Lee, 73 Duncan Street, Belmont, NC.

He served with Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines, 3rd Marine Division, 3rd MAF.

He was awarded The Combat Action Ribbon(CAR), The Purple Heart Medal for his combat related wounds, The Vietnam Service Medal, The Republic of Vietnam Campaign Service Medal, The National Defense Service Medal.
