Paul Waycaster was born November 15, 1933 in West Virginia. He retired as Gunny Sergeant from United States Marine Corps (serving during the Korean and Vietnam Wars), earning the Purple Heart, Bronze Star and received personal recognition from President Nixon, among many other medals. After his service to the USMC he was employed at GM Metal Fab where he also retired.
He was a life time member of the VFW, DAV, American Legion, where he served as Commander and Marine Corps League.
Surviving were: . . . 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and 10 siblings. He was preceded in death by: first wife, Kate Waycaster; granddaughter, Marcia; brother, Fred Waycaster.
