HENDERSON – Nancy Hope Dagenhart, 14, of 48 Spring Trail Lane went home to be with the Lord in His loving embrace on Monday, February 2, 2015.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at George Brothers Funeral Service, 803 Greenhaven Dr., Greensboro, NC 27406. Public viewing will start at 12:00 noon with Funeral Services at 2:00 pm with burial to immediately follow at Guilford Memorial Park, High Point Rd., Greensboro, NC. Pastor Gene Wood of Calvary Baptist Church will officiate.

Nancy was born in Newport News, VA. She is currently a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Henderson, NC. She loved the Lord and loved people. She was a loving light for those who knew her here on earth. And now she will be a watch light for others whom her parents pray will come to know Christ as their Lord and Savior through her earthly testimony. She understood that all things she did should always bring honor and glory to her Heavenly Father. One of the things she always loved to do was give hugs to people that she knew even if she only met them once.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Jones Elbert and Nancy Swaim Dagenhart, brother Kevin Matthew Salmons, uncle Michael Dagenhart, and by a loving caregiver Robin Maszczak.

The family will receive friends on Saturday following her burial at her Aunt Carol’s home at 1306 Juniper St., Greensboro, NC 27407.

It is the parent’s request that in lieu of flowers donations be given to Calvary Baptist Church, 722 US 158 West By-pass, Henderson, NC 27537 or C.U.R.E. (Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy), 430 W. Erie, Suite 210, Chicago, IL 60654 given in Nancy’s name.
