Lytle was born and raised in Petersburg, daughter of R.Q. and Amy McDaniel Davis. She married Loyd Howard Eaves on November 24, 1932, in Clovis, New Mexico. She operated a beauty shop in her home in Petersburg for many years and later opened a shop in town. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She and Loyd Howard had three children, Ella Q, Donald Keith and Karen Sue.
Lytle was survived by her children and their spouses, 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
