Mrs. Erma Christine Pope Paramore, age 94 of Milton, Florida changed dwelling places on September 14, 2008. She was born February 8, 1914 in Meggs, Ga. Her husband, James B. Paramore; her parents, John and Mary Alice Pope; two brothers, Emmett F. Pope and Samuel Z. Pope; one sister, Bessie Lee Gilford, preceded her in death.
Survivors include one sister, Miss Sallie Mae Pope born also on February 8, in 1908, she is 100 years of age. One son, Jaykye (Tiny) P. Paramore and daughter-in-law, Loxi R. Godwin Paramore; four grandchildren, James P. Paramore (Carol), JaykyAnne Lee Paramore-Patane (Lawrence), Stephen R. Godwin (Cindy) and Sean P. Godwin (Wendy); eight great-grandchildren, Jody Paramore, Cody Paramore, Tristin Patane, Zachary Patane, Joshua Godwin, Caleb Godwin, Seth Godwin and Jillian Godwin, and many loving nieces, nephews and family.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 18, 2008 in the Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel with Reverend James A. Martin, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Park Cemetery with Lewis Funeral Home directing.
Serving as pallbearers are Jack Pope, William Price, James Paramore, Stephen Godwin, Sean Godwin and Lawrence Patane.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel from 11:00AM, till time of service.
