Mr. Charles Wilson Dobbs, 86, of Ellijay (GA), formerly of Jacksonville, FL, died Thursdy, June 10, 2010. He was born Sept 12, 1923 in Alabama. He held a bachelor's degree and worked as a public high school teacher. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

He is preceded in death by his mother Cora Pearl Mills; wife, Betty Mae Skinner Dobbs, and son, Myron "Tad" Dobbs.
He is survived by companion "Misty"; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Jim Heilman, of Jasper; and grandchildren Matt and Monica.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 2 p.m. from the Hardage Giddens Chapel Hill Funeral Home Cemetery in Jacksonville, FL. Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
