Daughter of Fern Loraine Cassiday and Guy Blake

Fonda L. (Blake) Andrew passed away on Thursday February 20, 2014 at home, after fighting a long battle with lung cancer. Fonda was born in Warren County, Iowa to Fern Loraine Cassiday and Guy Blake. Fonda lived in Indianola her entire life. Fonda married Ralph Andrew of Warren County on November 26, 1957. She was a devoted housewife and caregiver. Fonda enjoyed camping, sewing, watching hot air balloons and spending time with her entire family.

She is survived by her husband Ralph; two children, Shelli (Kirk) Metz, of Slater Iowa and Randy (Vicki) Andrew of Indianola; brother, Leon Blake of Indianola; sisters, Sue (Ken) Keyes of Des Moines, Bev (Jim) Ginder of Ackworth and Janet Beltz of Indianola; two granddaughters, three great granddaughters and one great grandson; two step grandsons and seven step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Sharon Bloom. In lieu of services the family will be gathering for a private memorial to honor her memory at a later date. Memorial Contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice.
