Frances Blalock, 89, formerly of 127 S. 4th St., Easton, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, in Gracedale, the Northampton County nursing home in Upper Nazareth Township.
She had been employed by the former Onondaga Silk Mill in Easton for several years and also was a hairdresser and waitress in the Easton area for several years.
Born in November 29, 1909, in Easton, she was a daughter of the late George and Fannie Gaal Mutschler.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Easton.
She was a member of AARP, Easton Chapter; the 4th Street Rockettes; received the Golden Poet Award in 1988 and was an entertainer, singer and model in the Easton area and Florida.
Her husband Joesph, died earlier.
