Kathryn L. 'Kay' Watson Wilson passed away suddenly Feb 2, 1979, at her home in Auburn NE at the age of 54. She is survived by her husband, George 'Dick' Wilson, and four children: Mary Ann Gelster, Rich Wilson, Barbara Jo Fikes, and David Wilson. Also by her sister, Leone Evelyn Watson Robinson of Greenwood, MS, and her brother, Wallace B. Watson of Syracuse, New York, many in-laws, nieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She was a 1942 graduate of Decatur High School and a graduate of Univ of NE. She started a career teaching second grade briefly in the Albion Schools and the Auburn NE Schools.

On Nov 12, 1948 she married Dick Wilson in Falls City, NE, and they had their first child in 1954. She was a homemaker for most of her married life. She enjoyed reading, keeping a spotless house, and playing and learning with her children. Her husband, Dick, was Vice President of Auburn State Bank and they were active in civic clubs and activities. She now has 14 grandchildren and step-grandchildren, all living near Omaha or Auburn.

Services were held Thursday, Feb 8 at 2pm at United Methodist Church of Auburn, NE, Rev. J. B. Choate presiding, with interment at Glenrock Cemetery.
