Mrs. Anna (Grace) Geasland
Mrs. Anna Geasland, 76, died Thursday at 1:45 p.m. in Cherokee after a long illness. Her home was at 421 South Ninth.
A lifelong resident of Cherokee, she was born here Feb. 12, 1891 then was married in 1908 to Lafayette Geasland who preceded her in death in 1928.
A daughter also preceded her in death.
Surviving are three daughters. Mrs. Roy (Eliza)) Miles of Cherokee, Mrs. Jose Miles and Mrs. Cora Worely, both of Centralia, Wash.: two sons, Joseph and Glenn Geasland, both of Cherokee; 21 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren. One brother Warren McLaughlin of Choteau, Mont., also survives.
Funeral arrangements are to be announced later by Boothby Funeral Home.
