Obituary - Seth Wheatley GREENWOOD--Funeral services for Dudley Seth Wheatley, 79, retired cotton buyer and longtime member of the Mississippi Council of Human Relations, were to have been at 2 p.m. today at the Church of the Nativity here. Burial was to have been in Greenville Cemetery in Greenville. Wilson and Knight Funeral Home of Greenwood had charge. Mr. Wheatley, a former Greenville resident, died Wednesday in Veterans Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Ala., after a long illness. He was a World War I veteran. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Davidson Wheatley; a son, Dudley Seth Wheatley Jr. of Greenwood; two daughters, Mrs. E.L. Malone Jr. of Oklahoma City and Mrs. W.H. Rapp of Fairhaven, Mass.; a brother, Parker Wheatley of Memphis, and three sisters, Hazel Wheatiey and Mrs. Bowden Palmer, both of Jackson, and Mrs. Louis Davis of Greenville - Greenville DDT, Friday 1970 Oct 30.
