Kemp Haddon, 19, a lifelong Carroll County resident, died Tuesday May 21, 2013 in Leflore County from an automobile accident. He was born in Greenwood, August 24, 1993. Kemp was the son of John Richard & Marie Trull Haddon and of Sybil Lay Haddon, and the older brother of Ethan Aimes Lay Haddon.

He was a JZGeorge graduate and worked for Jones Electric as a sales representative. He had attended Holmes Jr. College and MDCC and had been a standout baseball player. JZGeorge head baseball and assistant football coach, Mark Austin, termed Haddon a 'perfect role model for what our school represents.' He stated that Kemp was 'a hard worker, completely dedicated, a leader with great character, and polite.' Kemp was a member of Mt Pisgah Baptist Church and an active member of the Mt Pisgah Volunteer Fire Department.

Visitation will be 11AM to 1PM Friday 5/24/2013 at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood with services at the funeral home at 1 PM, Rev Lanny Haley and Rev Billy Trull officiating.

Pallbearers will be Kasey Gibson, Jared Meeks, Adam Jennings, Blake Pollard, Josh Stewart, Cody Beam, Cody Goss and Trey Winters. Honorary Pallbearers will be Scott Beck, John Beck, Jerry Carver, Randall Clark, John Smith, Jimmy Gibson, Mark Austin, Bobby Bass, Coach Tom Hamby, Earl Prewitt, Wendell Goss, Kenny Jones, Lewis Jones, Sr., Lewis Jones, Jr., Haven Knight, Lynn Haley and the Mt Pisgah Volunteer Fire Department. Burial will be in Mount Pisgah Cemetery in Teoc.

He is survived by his parents, Johnny and Marie Trull Haddon of Carrollton and Sybil Lay Haddon of Trenton, GA., brother, Ethan Haddon of Carrollton, maternal grandparents, Billy and Nell Trull of Eupora and maternal great grandparent, Margie Trull of Eupora, and by numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the Mount Pisgah Baptist Church Youth Fund.
