Charles LaBarge
Charles LaBarge was born in Canada He was 81 years and 11 months of age at the time of his death in this city. Tuesday, August 15.
He was married early in 1857 to Katherine LaBarge. To this union six children were born, his wife dying at an early age.
Mr. LaBarge moved to Nebr. where he and Katherine Helespka were married Aug. 28, 1879.
Ten children blessed this union, of whom five boys and one girl still survive, Mrs. Joe Fief.
The family came to Kansas in 1884 where they have since lived.
The deceased was a retired farmer and well respected.
The deceased died from infirmities of old age, Tuesday Aug. 14, 1911.
The funeral was held in the Catholic church in St. Joe this morning in charge of Father Perrier.
Burial was made in the church cemetery.
