HIGH POINT — Mrs. Anne Elizabeth Horney Boehmer, 92, a resident of High Point, passed away on February 5, 2015.

Anne was born September 6, 1922 in Guilford County, a daughter of the late William Johnston Horney and Mae Louise Foushee Horney. She was an accounting technician with the I.R.S., and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, having served during World War II. Anne was preceded in death by her parents, nine sisters and brothers and two grandsons, Keith Keiser and Christopher Vranich. Anne was first married to Peter Keiser on March 8, 1944, and secondly, on February 25, 1978, she married Robert Owen Boehmer, who preceded her in death June 15, 1996.

Surviving are her daughters, Judy Keiser Huntley and her husband William of High Point, Kathleen Keiser Malin and her husband Karl of Williamsburg, MI; her sons, Peter Keiser and companion Martha Miller of West Hampton Beach, NY,

Will Keiser and his wife Oanh of Vero Beach, FL, Dick Boehmer and his wife Mary of Charlemont, MA; grandchildren, Heidi Byers of Chapel Hill, William Byers and his wife Jaimie of Huntington, NY, and Jamie Keiser of Hampton Bay, NY, Luke Keiser of Center Moriches, NY, Kristen Lowe and her husband Treva of Belgrade, MT, Amanda Riccio and her husband Michael of Middle Island, NY, Danny Boehmer and his wife Petra of Bozeman, MT, and Jim Boehmer and his wife Cynthia of Shelbourne Falls, MA. Also surviving are her great-grand-children, Hannah and Abigail Byers; Penelope, Adeline and Mabel Lowe; Keith Keiser and Kyle Riccio; Isabella and Marley Boehmer.

Anne was a beautiful, warm-hearted, nurturing woman who loved her family. She was a hard-working partner to her spouses. She loved the beach where she lived for so many years and always welcomed all to enjoy it with her. She enjoyed entertaining, was a passionate gardener, and loved her dog Benjy. When her abilities started failing, she never complained but showed appreciation for anything that was done for her. She will be missed by all who knew her.
