She was 20 years old and died in a local hospital.
She was a graduate of Northside High School, a member of Northside High School Choir and a member of King Solomon Baptist Church. She is survived by her guardians, Horace and Lola Ard of Ft. Smith; a brother, Lawrence Toran Jr. of Ft. Smith; and grandparents, Clarence Toran of Van Buren and Jessie and Juanita Hartgraves of Fort Smith.
