Sallie was the daughter of Amanda Anchatubbee, and Eastman Williams. Her grandfather was James(Jack)Crow a full blood Choctaw Indian. She was born in the Choctaw Nation Indian Territory in Skullyville. She was born a slave, as her mother was a slave of Emmeline Perry. When Sallie was three years old, the slaves were freed in Indian Territory. Her father Eastman Williams was a Choctaw Indian.

In the 1880's Sallie married Samuel Walton, son of Lydia Walton Talkington and Patrick Drennen. Sallie and Samuel had two boys Samuel Jr, and Houston Walton. Sallie and Samuel and the entire family were Choctaw Freedmen. They are on the final rolls of the Choctaw Freedmen on Census Card #777 her roll number was #3748. Sallie also had one daughter Louisa Ingram. Sallie died in Fort Smith, Arkansas from Cereberal Thombosis July 28, 1961 at the age of 98.
