The Wonderful Life of Angela Penn-Childs began, August 23, 1960 in Los Angeles, California. She was the third daughter born to Harold Willis and Jsne Esther Dickerson Penn.

Angie, as she was affectionately known, was educated in the Los Angeles Unified Schools. She accepted Christ at an early age and truly loved the Lord.

Angie met her soul-mate, John Terry Childs (who preceded her in death) and they were united as one in 1988. To this union four children were born.

Angie was a hoppy person and always had a radiant smile and a unique laugh. She and Terry's ultimate goal was to one day own their own (Bar-b-que) restaurant. However, they did catering from their home and were well known for their delicious food and were referred to as the "Rib King & Queen".

Angie will truly be missed. She was a wonderful mother, a caring and dependable daughter, a loving sister and a sweet daughter-in-law.

Angie leaves to cherish her memory, four beautiful children, John Terry, Jr., Sean Anthony, (Twins) Austin Alexander and Ashlee Rose, devoted and loving parents, Harold and June Penn, two loving sisters, Deborah Norris and Pamela Penn, devoted and inspirational mother-in-law, Faye Johnson, sweet dependable brother-in-law Ricky Johnson (Alisa), terrific sister-in-law, Debra Childs, brother and sister-in-law, Wilbert Carter and Regina Edwards, Step-children, Lonyà and Damon Childs, Chad and Adriane McGee, four step-granddaughters, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Died in Las Vegas, Nevada at 5:00 A.M.from cancer.
