54, died Wednesday at his home.

He was the husband of Pamela (Flinchbaugh) Crosby.

Born in Eastham, he was raised and educated in Orleans and graduated from Nauset Regional High School. He attended Cape Cod Community College and Mohawk Valley Community College in New York, where he pursued a degree in business.

He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was discharged in 1970. Mr. Crosby was a patrolman for the Orleans Police Department for a short time and built homes throughout Cape Cod. He then began a career in computer technology and worked for 17 years for Digital Equipment Corp., retiring in 1994 as project manager.

After leaving Digital, he owned and operated Countree Sampler, buying and selling antique furniture and decor.

He enjoyed fishing, boating and travel and especially enjoyed his family and doing improvements around his home.

Besides his wife, survivors include a daughter, Noelle Moulton of Brewster; three stepdaughters, Tamson Trotta of Stoughton, Darragh Joyce of Harwich and Erin Beltis of Brewster; his mother, Elizabeth Crosby of Orleans; a sister, Sheila Perkins of Springvale, Maine; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. tomorrow at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 729 Route 134, South Dennis. Burial is private.
