Alfred Roy Whitt of Fort Worth, Tex., died Thursday at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Dallas, Texas. The body is being sent to Hanes Lineberry North Elm Street Chapel. Funeral arrangements are pending.

He was a native of Guilford County and a veteran of World War II service in the U. S. Coast Guard. He was a Baptist.

Surviving are son, Michael Whitt of Lexington, Ky.; sisters, Miss Nina M. Whitt and Mrs. B. R. Clapp of Greensboro, Mrs. R. B. Nelson of Fayetteville, W. Va., Mrs. R. L. Stack of Belmont; brother, N. J. Whitt of Siler City.
