HIGH POINT - Robert Ferree 'Bob' Craver, 77, of The Presbyterian Home, died 1:25 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, 1996, in High Point Regional Hospital.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday in the Chapel of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, by the Rev. Ivan H.M. Peden. Burial will be in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery. The body will remain at Sechrest Funeral Home on E. Lexington Ave., until placed in the chapel 30 minutes prior to the funeral.

Mr. Craver was born July 13, 1919, in High Point, a son of Earl and Ethel Ferree Craver. A lifelong resident of High Point, he graduated from High Point High School and attended High Point University, and UNC at Chapel Hill. He was a retired manufacture representative. He was a retired lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force. Prior to his being a furniture manufacturing representative, he was employed at High Point Cigar Co. He was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. On Dec . 12, 1943, he married Rebecca Pence.

Surviving are his wife, Pencie Craver of the Presbyterian Home; one daughter, Becky and husband, Pat Haynes of 3703 Gaston Rd., Greensboro; son, Bob and Janet Craver of 4618 Chesterfield Pl., Jamestown; three grandchildren, Sarah and Beth Haynes and Wes Craver.
