The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Father Lutheran Church with Pastor Bernard W. Hess officiating. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.
Mr. Clendenin was born on June 19, 1947, in Greensboro, a son of Marion Sifford Clendenin and the late Charles Frank Clendenin. A U.S. Air Force veteran, he was formerly employed with Blue Bell, Inc., as a supervisor and was a part time commercial art instructor at Guilford Technical Community College. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and son.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Donna Davis Clendenin of the home; mother Marion Clendenin of Greensboro; a son, Jason Clendenin and wife Julie of High Point; a daughter, Heather Clendenin of the home; a brother, Scott Clendenin of Greensboro; two grandchildren, Haylie and Samuel Clendenin.
