Mary "Sis" L. Burd, 78, of Raritan Township passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014 in Morristown Hospital.
Born: Born September 18, 1935 in Phillipsburg, NJ she was the daughter of the late Merle and Rose (Lance) Thorpe. Personal: She was a security guard with Wells Fargo in Hackettstown before her retirement. She had a passion for country music and her dogs.
Survivors: She is survived by her husband Hurley Burd, III; three sons, three daughters, a sister, of Pohatcong Township; six grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Three brothers, David, Sonny and Lyle and a sister, Patricia Rotolo, all passed away earlier.
