Funeral services for Mrs. Tennessee Adams, 67, were held Tuesday afternoon at Deer. Mrs. Adams died Saturday night at Booneville. She is survived by eight sons; Arch Adams of Harrison, Beecher Adams and Conrad Adams of Clovis, Calif.; Ora and Ernie Adams of Oakland, Calif., Vernie Adams of Kansas City, Mo., Virgil Adams of Deer, and Denver Adams of Nail; two daughters; Obia Spradley of Limestone and Frankie Smith of Kansas City, Mo.; 21 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Burial was in the Deer cemetery under direction of the L. C. Holt Funeral Home of Harrison.
