Raised on the family farm, Janice was a very active child. She spent many summer hours riding on the back of the tractor with her father, Jim. At a very early age, she learned how to use a 22 gauge rifle, and was a very good shot; so much so, that she usually got more Jack rabbits than did her older brother, Jimmy.
Janice, a devoted daughter, loved being with family and friends. As a child, she spent many hours sitting on her father's lap listening to stories of the "good old days".
During the summer of her sixteenth year, Janice worked part-time in the dress department at J.C. Penney's in Madera. A popular and out-going girl, Janice was crowned the 1963 Madera Home-Coming Queen in her senior year at Madera Union High School.
On June 30, 1963, while returning home with two friends from an outing at Millerton Lake, Janice died in a tragic automobile accident on Hwy 145. She was only seventeen.
Janice was survived by her parents Vincent J. (Jim) and Ellen Badiali Logoluso, her older brother James V. Logoluso, and many, many aunts, uncles and cousins. To this day, she is greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
