Carole Susan Frede Sordi was born to Robert and Faye Butcher Frede on June 10, 1946 in Nebraska City, NE.
Carole was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church, she attended St. Joachim Catholic School and later attended Eastin-Arcola Elementary school; she was a graduate of Madera High School class of 1964.
After graduation Carole went to Beauty College and was a beautician until her marriage. Carole and her sweetheart Doug Sordi were married on April 22, 1967.
Carole was active in the family farm as well as working at various places such as being a weigh master at Heublein Winery for 10 years, and at TECO's as an accountant.
Carole was active in her community. She was a Life Member of the Madera County Historical Society, a Sr. member of the Alegria Guild of Valley Children's Hospital, the Madera Method Wagon Train, the Young Homemakers and the Sew N Sew's in Madera.
While spending time by the ocean in Santa Cruz, Carole went to be with our Lord on Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Doug Sordi, three sons, two brothers, and one sister. Carole also leaves behind seven grandchildren, and numerous cousins.
Funeral Services were held on: Thursday, August 5, 2010, at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA. Interment at Arbor Vitae Cemetery, Madera, CA.
