Gary was born on February 5, 1942, in Fresno CA., to Max and Delores Davis.

Gary grew up in Madera, attending Madera High School and Fresno City College before enlisting in the United States Air Force for two terms.

He worked at United Parcel Service as a driver for over 28 years before retiring.

He loved fishing and the mountains. He loved watching Nascar and other sporting events with his buddies, puttering at rummage sales, and most of all his three daughters and their children. His smile, sense of humor, generosity and kind heart will be missed by many.

He passed away peacefully on Monday, May 28, 2012, after a brief battle with pneumonia. Thank you to the ICU staff at St. Agnes Medical Center for the excellent care provided during his final days.

He is survived by his three daughters; six grandchildren; a brother and family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at North Pointe Community Church on Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at 11:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
