Helen Darling Lewis, 69, of Rush Twp., PA died Monday evening, March 26, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Auburn Twp. on Dec. 2, 1942 the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Bowen Koromlan. Her stepdad, John Koromlan, died in 1991. Her husband, the late Gerald Lewis, died in 2011.
Prior to retirement, Helen worked at Walmart in the fabric department. She graduated from Elk Lake School District. She enjoyed being in her flower garden, crocheting, lunches with her friends and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons, Michael and wife, Tammy Darling of Rush Twp., Edward Darling and wife, Cathy Wildoner of Auburn Twp.; a daughter, Elizabeth Spickerman and Larry Fike of Montrose; five grandchildren, Edward J. and Brian Darling, Kaitlin Spickerman, Kelly Darling and Mercedes Spickerman; three step-grandchildren, Corey and Jonathan Wildoner and Vicki Robinson; a brother, John Koromlan of Auburn Twp., several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 30 at 11 a.m. from the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home, 123 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock with Pastor Pat Newhart officiating. Interment at Jersey Hill Cemetery, Auburn Twp.
