John Henry "Hank" Rogers, Jr., 68 of Harwichport, MA, died Monday, January 19, 2015. He was born February 2, 1945 in Fairhaven, MA to the late John Henry Rogers former editor of the Cape Cod Standard Times and late Frances F. (Roos) Rogers. He was a 1963 graduate of DY Regional HS.
Hank was an avid stamp collector and serious sports enthusiast. He wrote sports articles for the DY Register while in HS. Later in life he worked in his parent's grocery store and more recently at Starmarket in Harwich.
A brief memorial service will be held Friday, January 30, 2015 (today) at 1 pm at Doane, Beal and Ames, 260 Main Street, W Harwich, MA. Burial at Pine Grove Cemetery in Harwich will be at a later date.
