Mrs. Goodrich Dies: Recalled Lincoln
Mrs. Lizzie Maury Goodrich, 90, a native of Washington who treasured a kiss from President Lincoln as one of her fondest memories, died yesterday at the Presbyterian Home, 1818 Newton Street, N.W.

Mrs Goodrich received the kiss when, as 10 year old Lizzie Maury Wannall, she attended a reception at the White House celebrating the end of the Civil War. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Wannall.

Mrs. Goodrich was a member of the Society of Natives and the Covenant-First Presbyterian Church. She was a pianist.

She is survived by a son, Charles Edward Goodrich: two grandsons, Howard and Edward E. Goodrich, and a granddaughter Patricia Siedel, all of the Washington area, and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Presbyterian Home at 2 p.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Affectionately known as "Mamoo" to her grandchildren.
