Betty Cantrell, age 76, of Carrollton, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2015, at her home.
She was born November 17, 1938 in Bridgeport, Texas to Coleman Iverson Meek and Cordia Naomi Womack Meek. Betty married Jimmie D. Cantrell on June 8, 1957. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at VFW Post 9168 in Lewisville.
Betty is survived by her husband, Jimmie; daughters, Sheri Simpson and Brandi Davis; seven grandchildren; four great grandchilden; sister, Joy Munn and brother, Dennis L. Meek.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Dennis Iverson Cantrell.
