Thomas L. Marshall, 76, of Stone Bridge Road, Morrisville, NY passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton.

He was born Sept. 21, 1936 in Oneida, a son of Otis and Addie May Lyman Marshall. He was a graduate of Stockbridge High School and Cornell University. On March 31, 2001, Thomas married Carol Wells in Morrisville. Mr. Marshall was the owner and C.E.O. of Otis Marshall Farms until his retirement.

Tom was a communicant of St. Joan of Arc Church in Morrisville. He was also an active and dedicated member of his community. He served as the Chairman of the Board of SUNY Morrisville for 17 years; was a trustee of the Morrisville Community Club; a member of the Morrisville Foundation; and served on the Board of the NYS School for the Blind.

Surviving are his wife, Carol; his children, Daryl Marshall, Sheryl and Tim Wickersham, all of Evergreen, Colo.; Michael and Julie Marshall, Munnsville; Thomas, Jr. and Sarah Marshall, Munnsville; step-children, Debora Hall, Troutman, N.C.; Kathleen and Randy Scofield, Chittenango; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ada May and Robert Fearon, Oneida and Florida; Zoe Mary and Edwin Vessey, Haverhill, Mass.; brother and sister-in-law, James and Ruth Marshall, Chittenango; 10 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a son, Timothy and a brother, Fred.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from St. Joan of Arc Church, Morrisville.

Interment in the Village View Cemetery, Morrisville will be in the spring.

Contributions in his memory may be made to the NYS School for the Blind, 2A Richmond Ave., Batavia, N.Y. 14020; or to the Jim Marshall Farms Foundation, Inc., 1978 New Boston Road, Chittenango, N.Y. 13037.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 31 Cedar St., Morrisville.
