Joshua-Michael "Josh" Bristol Butkins, 24, of Onondaga Hill, died Friday at home. Josh was employed as a server at Scotch & Sirloin in DeWitt. He enjoyed video and computer games, his dogs, fishing, rollerblading, skiing and ice skating. He had a zany personality and was considered to be the family comedian. He had a very soft heart and would do anything for anyone, especially family. Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Camille Butkins-Reith and Bob Reith of Onondaga Hill; his father, Joe Butkins of Liverpool; three brothers, Sean Butkins, Bobby and Caleb Reith and a sister, Christina Reith all of Onondaga Hill; paternal grandparents, John and Betty Butkins of LaFayette; paternal great-grandmother, Rosemary Butkins of Clay; grandmother, Betty Smith of Fulton; several aunts, uncles and cousins to which he was very close. Services will be Saturday, 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, Route 20, LaFayette. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours will be Friday, 4 to 7 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 2584 Field Lane, LaFayette.
