Charles C. Larmer, 84, formerly of Fordham Road, Syracuse, passed away Sunday at James Square Health & Rehabilitation Center. Charles retired in 1983 from Crouse Hinds, where he was employed for over 25 years. He was a communicant of St. Daniels Church and was an Army Veteran of World War II. His wife, Marietta A., predeceased him in 2002. Survivors include his son, Charles C. Larmer, Jr. of Liverpool; his sister, Mary Clark; his brothers, Carl, George, Robert and Chauncy; and his grandson, Scott Alexander. Calling hours will be Wednesday 4 to 7 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd., Syracuse. Services will be Thursday 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home and 10 a.m. in St. Daniel's Church, Lyncourt. Interment, with military honors, will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum, Dewitt. Contributions may be made to The National Kidney Foundation, 731 James Street, Syracuse 13203.
