She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of Hollister and Herbietta Mae (Simpkins) Roundy. She was a graduate of P.D. Moore High School in Central Square, NY.
Donna retired from Oneida Limited Silversmiths as a machine operator in the knife plant. At the time of her passing, she was employed as Executive Housekeeper at the Oneida Community Mansion House, a position she held for the past 22 years.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 230 of Sherrill NY. She enjoyed fishing, especially with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Tony M. Kowanes (Jenny T. Reals) of Oneida; her grandsons, Anthony M. Kowanes and Richard Denison; her granddaughter, Taylor Denison; her great-granddaughter, Alexis; her sister, Eileen (John) Campbell of Constantia; her brother, Herbert (Susan) Roundy of Texas; brothers-in-law, Bob (Anna) Kowanes of Camden, and Fred (Judy) Kowanes of Constantia; and several nieces and nephews. Donna was predeceased by her parents, and by her beloved daughter Tammy Kowanes.
