Jane A. Bukowski, 89, of Syracuse, died on Saturday at St. Camillus. She had attended Eastwood High School and had retired as a nurse from Upstate Medical Center. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Pulaski Post for 50 years. Ms. Bukowski was a communicant of Transfiguration Church and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She was predeceased by her sisters, Helen Kendrat, Anne Bukowski; and brothers, Chester, John, Frank and Stanley Bukowski. She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Bukowski and Marie Bukowski and many nieces and nephews, including, Nick (Mary) Kendrat of Syracuse and Mariette (Steven) Neubauer of California. Funeral services are Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson funeral home and at 10 a.m. in Transfiguration Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Transfiguration Church, 704 Teall Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13206 or Regional Rehab. Center Fund at Upstate, 750 E. Adams St., CAB 326, Syracuse, NY 13210.
