Mary L. Balduzzi, 92, of Solvay, passed away Saturday at Van Duyn Home and Hospital. Born in Syracuse to Giacomo and Margherita (Marascalchi) Bordiga, she lived in Solvay most of her life. She was in the catering business, waitressing for many area restaurants and functions during her lifetime. She retired from WT Grant's in the Northern Lights Plaza. Mary was a member of the Solvay Tyrol Club Ladies Auxiliary, Solvay Seniors and a longtime communicant of St. Cecilia Church and member of its Altar and Rosary Society. She was predeceased by her husband, Fausto, in 1958. She is survived by a daughter, Jean Balduzzi of Solvay; two sons, Edward (Catherine) of Solvay and Ronald (Roxanne) of Lakeland; five grandchildren, Renee Wike, Edward John, John Francis, Kara and Rebecca Balduzzi; one great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Wike; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:15 a.m. Friday in BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, and 9 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
